Freehand Machine Embroidery
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been trying to experiment with freehand machine embroidery. Its so easy and the finishing result looks so good. When writing letters or words, it comes out just like your own handwriting. It’s a bit difficult to do calligraphy as the thread goes everywhere, but just keeping it simple works too. After playing around for a bit, I decided I would make some leaves, using newspaper as a background. It becomes easier the more you practice. This is a great technique for adding some texture to a drawing or anything that needs some touching up. I would highly recommend giving it a go.
